The Evolution of the Third Eye Beanie
From playful sketch to bestseller, the Third Eye Beanie has seen major evolution. This design started as a quick sketch to test out a Plotter printer and ended two years later as a manufactured embroidered beanie and MADDHOUSE’s top selling product. After making a few ‘Third Eye’ patches on the plotter in 2021, I hand stitched them to a couple beanies for friends, and got social media feedback for preorders. The next year, not fully satisfied with the Plotting method, I decided to learn embroidery programming and embroider them in house with a machine. This process produced much better quality, but I still couldn’t keep up with demand. So, last year I got small batch embroidery manufacturing and the Third Eye beanies are looking better than ever!
